We inspire healthy choices. We impact brighter futures. We create safe, healthy learning environments where every student can learn, grow, and succeed.
This school year, the South Eastern School District has installed vape detection technology in every middle and high school restroom.
This investment reflects our commitment to student health, school safety, and providing learning environments free from nicotine and drug use.
Our goal is prevention, not punishment. By encouraging healthy choices and maintaining clear expectations, we can help every student focus on what matters most: learning, building relationships, and preparing for a bright future.

❤️ Healthy Choices. 🛡️ Safe Schools. ⭐️ Bright Futures.

At the top, the SESD logo with a ram head and core values (Persistence, Collaboration, Curiosity, Critical Thinking, Empathy, Creativity, Integrity, Innovation, Problem Solving, Tolerance, Communication, Effort) is to the right. The left side has large white and yellow text reading: "SOUTH EASTERN SCHOOL DISTRICT. WE INSPIRE HEALTHY CHOICES. WE IMPACT BRIGHTER FUTURES." In the middle-left, there are three icons and text blocks: •	A heart icon in a shield with a yellow background states: "CREATING SAFE, HEALTHY LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS WHERE EVERY STUDENT CAN LEARN, GROW, AND SUCCEED." •	An icon of a hand holding a smoking device with radiating waves states: "THIS SCHOOL YEAR, the South Eastern School District has installed vape detection technology in every middle and high school restroom." •	A shield icon with a checkmark states: "THIS INVESTMENT reflects our commitment to student health, school safety, and providing learning environments free from nicotine and drug use." •	An icon of hands cupping a person silhouette states: "OUR GOAL IS PREVENTION, NOT PUNISHMENT. By encouraging healthy choices and maintaining clear expectations, we can help every student focus on what matters most: learning, building relationships, and preparing for a bright future." On the right, a large red circle with a diagonal line (the universal "no" symbol) is over an image of a person’s hand holding a vape device with a cloud of vapor coming out. Text on top of the image reads: "NO VAPING. BREATHE CLEAN. CHOOSE HEALTH. CHOOSE SUCCESS." The bottom section has three small icons (heart, shield, star) with the words: "HEALTHY CHOICES. “A Legacy of Learning: Honoring Our District Retirees” is the title of our latest Inspire and Impact episode. In this episode we are honored to recognize several of our district retirees. These educators and support staff have dedicated years of service to our students and schools. Their work has not only impacted classrooms, but has helped build the culture and heart of our district. Retirement is not just an ending, it is a celebration of a legacy.

We thank them for your years of dedication, their care for students, their commitment to excellence, and the countless ways they have strengthened our schools. Their impact will continue long after their final day in the classroom or office. It lives on in the students they’ve taught, the colleagues they’ve supported, and the culture they’ve helped build.

On behalf of our entire district, we wish them joy, rest, and fulfillment in this next chapter.
